Carrie ten Napel Cancels Wedding Plans: Never Happening

Image
Dutch TV presenter Carrie ten Napel has news that nobody in Hilversum saw coming this week — and she is laughing about it. In a candid interview with De Telegraaf , the 46-year-old host confirmed that she and her partner Michiel Teeling have definitively crossed their wedding plans off the list. Her verdict? "Het gaat nooit gebeuren" — it's never going to happen . If you're catching up on this story and wondering who the couple behind the headline is, their love story has been one of Dutch showbiz's sweetest for years. Something unusual is happening on Netflix Netherlands right now: Dutch productions aren't just holding their own — they're dominating the conversation. Peter, one of this season's suitors on B&B Vol Liefde , has found new love — and the story of how it happened is straight out of a modern fairy tale. Just days after opening up about his painful Ibiza experience, the 35-year-old from Eindhoven revealed that a viewer slid into his DMs after seeing him on television. The two are now exclusive, though Peter is keeping his partner's identity strictly private. The revelation came in a candid new interview with Veronica Superguide , published on 17 October, in which Peter looked back on his short stint courting Timothy on Ibiza — and dropped the happy news almost casually. "Someone slid into my DMs," he said with a big grin. "He saw me on TV and decided to send me a message. We're exclusive now." The DM That Changed Everything After the disappointment on Ibiza, Peter certainly wasn't sitting around waiting for lightning to strike. But the romance found him anyway — through social media, of all place...
